Months after the first clue of his future appearance in the game, Mime Jr. will finally come to Pokémon Go.
Mr. Mime’s baby form was one of the few creatures from previous generations that had not yet been launched.
The Mime Jr. affair was not as easy as it might seem, since its evolution Mr. Mime is a regional Pokémon that is only found in Europe.
Fans had wondered if Mr. Mime would lose his regional status if Mime Jr. was launched worldwide, but Niantic has chosen another path.
Starting tomorrow, September 26, the 5-kilometer Pokémon eggs will have regional Pokémon native to the area where the egg has been collected.
So, if you are in Europe, you will find regional Pokémon like Mime Jr., Pansear and Durant, in addition to Zangoose, which is now available in Variocolor form.
If you are in the United States, from now on you will find regional Pokémon such as Tauros, Panpour, Heatmor and Seviper in Shiny version.
In summary, if you can get a regional Pokémon on the map of your location, you will also find it in the 5-kilometer eggs.
This is the first time this has happened in the game and a curious way to introduce Mime Jr., who will be the first regional Pokémon with evolution, and the first that will only be available only in eggs.
Celebrating World Tourism Day, the exchanges will cost a quarter of the Stardust, the Poképaradas will give double XP and missions available tomorrow from 22:00 (European Central Time) until the same time on October 1.
